Five weeks ago six of us started a diet that we are calling the fear diet. We each took a picture of ourselves in just shorts or underwear. We then decided what our goal was. Mine was to lose 23 pounds by Mid September. Each week we weigh in to see if we are on target for our weight loss.
Our pictures are posted online and each week if we miss our target a portion of the picture will be shown. So far I'm on target. When my picture was taken I was at an all time high of 192. No way in hell I want people to see that! haha. The site is pretty awesome though. Good job Chris & David.

09:16 am - Last Night
Chris and I went to a charity event last night it was pretty cool. It was for a charity that helps women and children in domestic violence situations. They had this really cool thing called a dessert dash. They had a room full of donated desserts. Some of them were totally awesome! Each table had 10 people and each person decided what they wanted to donate. The table that bid the most got to send one person into the room and grab a dessert for the table.
Our dude sucked. Our table got to go about half way through and our dude comes back with this big plate of pudding. I'm not joking. He had to dish out some pudding using a spatula. What a stupid pick. Like it was THE LAST thing I would have picked.
Granted I have been on a diet for like 3 weeks so I was overly picky, but man if we were not an event that was helping those against domestic violence, I would have kicked his ass.

Chris and I were talking about American Idol last night. By the way I'm in love with Jason Castro.
The one girl that sang the country song....wow....horrible. I don't even bother to know the girls names (much like Simon) because why. They are all going to be picked off one by one anyway. Only the Irish Girl and the Mormon might make it further. Anyway you know you have done really bad when even Paula can't say something nice. She just told Country girl uh yeah that wasn't good.
I would have pooped my pants right there if Paula told me that. Seriously. You know you are getting bad news from Randy when he either starts out going
Uh ok here is the deal or How are you feeling tonight. How did you think you did. Translation "am I about to make you cry"
I don't agree that the balding rocker was "awesome" though. I think him and lightening hair rocker girl yell to much. I mean I like rock and all, but Skunk hair girl needs pull the cotton out of her mouth. Seriously.

So Dawn Wells (Mary Ann) got busted for having pot in her car. She is 69. That makes me love her even more. I can just imagine her and Gilligan hitting the bong between takes back in the 70s. Totally awesome.

Went to a LAN party today. For those of you non-nerds it was a bunch of guys sitting around a table playing computer games. I officially give up on life. I am a nerd. A BIG NERD. It was fun though until I came home and lost at scrabble on line. Stupid Scrabble. DIE letter Q.

I'm so tired. We got up fairly early for a Saturday and we went to the casino with Chris parents. I won $60 bucks, but Chris lost so it was like a wash, but I WON...remember that. I'm the winner.
Then I went to the grocery store by myself in the rain. I hate errands and the rain...but I love the rain...curses.
My dearest friend wants me to go to the Cuff, but I'm already in my pjs. Yes I know it is 7:40 at night, but screw it. It's raining and I'm in for the night. Chris is at his grandparent so I'm sitting by the fire and just chilling.
Oh I accidentally deleted a friend of mine from Texas off my top 12 list on Myspace and I got like 3 emails from him because he thinks I hate him. Do people realize that MySpace does not dictate where you really fit into someone's life? But seriously Manuel if you move me down I will cut you.
This friend is also the friend that was suppose to come out for a visit last year, but missed his flight. The flight that I paid for the ticket. He is suppose to 'reschedule', but probably won't...stupid mexican. It's a good thing I like brown boys..come to think of it maybe I did remove him off my friends list on purpose.
I think I expect to much from friends. I mean I was thinking about it the other day and really when I think about my friends and what I consider a good friend and a true friend like 100% for real friend.... and besides Chris there are only a few that I consider true friends. I have tons of people that I see on and off, but I dunno just not the same.
Speaking of being a bad friend I'm totally not going to the cuff and I'll get cut for this...I know I will.
ME ON THE COUCH BEFORE I GET CUT.

06:56 am - Happy Friday!
Well I drove in with Chris today and got to work at 6:00 am. There is something not right about going to work that early. I was the only one in the office besides 1 benefit specialist and an old lady in accounting that smells like dirty money.
I did get tons of work done my first hour here so maybe there is something to it. My boss set up a lunch meeting at 1:30 in Marysville. I hate her so much right now. Seriously. She is totally going to want to go to the casino afterwards though so that is cool. Tough day at the office on a Friday afternoon.
I had lunch with one of my favorite clients yesterday. She is rad and I have a little crush on her. Sorry Chris.

12:21 pm - Monday's.....
I really hate Monday. It's like a weekly reminder that your life sucks and you have to work. I actually don't mind work. I mean I like the people I work with and my boss is pretty good to me.
I just hate having to get up you know...my lazy self and all. We had some people over on Sunday for brunch. We are going to try and do it weekly and invite different friends. We hear from some of our friends that we don't do things with them etc. So we are going to try and do better keeping in contact with all our friends during the year.
Chris made a yummy Fritta and Cinna Rolls...mmm They were so good. I do however need a night where I get wasted and call in sick the next day. :D

Well Hill might pull it off. She is currently up 2% with a little over 40% of the votes in. I am surprised actually. At least she won't have to cry so much after this one. Even if she doesn't pull off a victory she had a good showing. I would really like to see a Hill/OB ticket. I think it would be cool get replace two old southern white boys with a woman and a black dude. Take that homophobes!
My jury duty is officially over. I didn't not get picked....awww.. whew. It was a neat experience though. I have never done it before. Now back to work and getting drunk! woot woot.

09:04 am - Jury Duty Day 2
Back at the King County Courthouse for day 2 of sitting around doing nothing. Part of me wants to be called just so I'm not sitting here bored, but that would mean I'm hear probably all week if not longer. Not that I mind missing work, but sometimes you would rather be working than doing nothing, but stuck in a room with 150 other strangers.
It would be one thing if they were all good looking, but the ratio of good looking to eeeck you live in Seattle is currently 5:150.
Chris got back from the Cayman's. Looking all tan and tired. I hate them so much still. So much hate. Can't contain.
Aw well. I may post again since there isn't anything else to do.

01:07 am - Stupid Stupid Jury Duty
So we have some friends who work for a travel company and they called us tonight because they have to get some bags to the Cayman Islands and needed people to fly out there this weekend and take the bags. Long story, but it is a free trip to the Islands....I can't go. I have stupid stupid jury duty on Monday morning and I have already canceled it once. So Chris and our friend Justin are going. They leave in 4 hours. How sucky! Pretty cool that they get to go though. However I am now alone all weekend :(

My last trip finally posted on Alaska Airlines! WOOT I remain an MVP Gold Member on Alaska. First class for me! Only problem is now I don't want to fly!

Not liking how I look so far in 2008. I have let my hair grow out and haven't shaved...I don't think I'm digging it. I'm going to try and at least get through one more week but ugh I don't think I'm meant to have longer hair or facial hair at all!

So I got upgraded to first class on my way to New York...I should say Newark, I never left NJ. Doing my last minute mileage run so that I can stay a member of Alaska's MVP Gold program. So I flew out here checked into a hotel and I'm flying back now. Sitting at a Friday's at the airport. At least I'll be able to get on the plane and drink for free. They are so busy that we had to share tables. This Harvard teacher was calling and ordering something. She just rattled off her visa. I should do some online shopping. Stupid Harvard Teacher. Suck it.
I'm ready to be home and not travel for a bit. I do want to come back to NY, just not by myself. Not so fun. Oooh there is a crazy drunk here at this Friday. Like the manager kicked him out, but he is hanging like 2 feet away from the Friday's in the "airport section" and taunting everyone lol. How do you get that wasted at an airport? Oh wait.....I'm well on my way.
I should go up to the drunk and punch him. I haven't punched anyone in the face before in my entire life. That seems sort of sad. I should put that on my list of things to do before I die. I'll put that right next to pee on a homeless person. Just kidding.
So this Harvard teacher that is sitting next to me looks like a bird. I'm kind of scared that she is going to peck at me.
I'm in such a random mood. Not sure what I'm going to do for New Year's yet. Perhaps stay at home in my jammies...doesn't that sound nice. Piece out. I gotta close my lap top before the drunk pukes on me.

One more day left...whew. Today I left a little early and did my first real xmas shopping...i know late and lame. I just want to get tomorrow over with so I can begin my 4 day drinking binge. :D

It's been so long that I can't even remember the last time I posted. I guess I could look, but that takes too much effort.
Tonight we went over to Manuel's house and I let a spider crawl on me. It was kind of cool. Maybe that's just the wine talking, but I liked it. I want to own something hairy with 8 legs.
